Launched in 2019, Expertido.org is dedicated to the consumer and aims to provide him with thorough, unbiased and independent purchase advice. We are growing to be one of the largest and most comprehensive product review sites in the United States, with tens of thousands of reviews and rankings in categories that include fitness & outdoor equipment, personal care, infant care, electronics, home & garden, household appliances and much more.
On top of that, since January 2020, we also provide in-depth comparisons of over 1.2m local service companies. Again, we are following a meta-analysis approach, so all of our recommendations are based on the average ratings of millions of customers from all over the US.
Unlike many other consumer portals, we focus entirely on digital commerce. We regularly browse the largest online shops such as Amazon and eBay for new product ranges, which we examine for our readers.
Besides that, we also have a closer look at other consumer portals like TheWirecutter, BestReviews or Cnet and put together their data and advices on a meta-level.
We are a little different from other product review sites in that each one of our product groupings is displayed in an easy-to-follow format. While we may have researched dozens of products in a category, we will always show you the best advices. After all, who has time to fight their way through hundreds of products in one industry? Our reviews are the perfect combination of product comparison, expert analysis, and industry data so you can find the right product for you.

George Hayes – CEO & Founder
George founded Expertido.org in 2019 and is since then the creative head of the Expertido team. In his spare time George loves to go climbing and swimming.
Eric Hines – CTO
Eric takes care of all technical aspects around Expertido. He also launched the Expertido Chrome extension. When he’s not in office coding frontend or backend lines, you usually find Eric on a tennis court in Massachusetts.
Grant Cruise – IT Development
Coding is a highly complex art – that’s the impression our trainees get when they spend a day looking over Grant’s shoulders. At Expertido, he’s responsible for our Backend Development and the very first employee, too. In his free time, Grant lives the life of what ‘normal’ people would consider a typical nerd: he loves to play video games, building his own computers and playing around with the newest apps out there.
Larry Tincher – Data Science
If you ever wonder how we are managing it to handle more than 10m of data points that are filling thousands of comparison tables and lists on Expertido, then Larry is the answer. When Larry’s not juggling data, he usually spends time at home with his two boys Tom and Justin.
Vasco Alvarez – Web Design
Vasco is the master of colors and beautiful designs at Expertido. He also thinks about how to make our portal even more userfriendly on mobile and desktop devices. After work, he usually plays soccer or PS4.
Bernardina Watson – Social Media & PR
If you have ever seen a facebook or twitter post from Expertido, it’s probably Bernardina’s work. She is taking care of our social media accounts and is responsible for our press releases. When she is not searching for the newes Emojis to decorate here posts, she most likely spends time with here three dogs.
Stephanie Grey – Content Editor
Stephanie was the first trainee that we’ve later hired as Content Editor for product images and videos. In her spare time, Stephanies loves to cook Italian food.
Kevin Buckmaster – Content Editor
Kevin takes care of the text editing and reviews the articles written by our content creators. When he is not in the office, Kevin plays Violine in his town’s orchestra for classical music.
Karen Billings – Content Controlling
Karen is a professional detective – her job is to spot any spelling or grammar mistakes our authors have made and to correct them. Besides her proofreading activity at Expertido, Karen is a Netflix junkie who loves good food and red wine.
David Alatorre – Content Creator
David is writing about technical tools and kitchen gadgets. He regularly tests products at home, that’s why his garage is full of drills, kitchen machines, and similar tools. In the summer term, David usually spends his holidays in European countries.
Annie Omally – Content Creator
Annie’s field is beauty products. So she reviews the newest mascara or lipgloss out there and writes about it on Expertido.org. When Annie is not working, she is learning French at an evening college and does some yoga exercises.
James Clark – Content Creator
All kinds of household products, especially the ones with technical components, are in the focus of James’s daily working routine. He’s already reviewed hundreds of air conditioners or vacuum cleaners for Expertido. In his spare time, James loves being a two-time grand-father.
Audrey Johnson – Content Creator
Audrey reviews, compares and describes sports products. So, it’s not surprising, that in her free time, Audrey usually spends her time outdoors with ski under her feet and/or helmets on her head.
Sandra Cohen – Content Creator
Sandra writes about baby products. Having her 2-year old son at home, she exactly knows what products work, and which don’t. At Expertido, she writes about her experiences and compares hundreds of baby products per month.
